Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine, a singer-composer who is known for his unique mixture of soul gospel, R&B and R&B. Avery Sunshine's performances have been on Broadway and at festivals in Europe as well as performing at Democratic National Convention. The real name of Sunshine is Denise White. While she's based in Atlanta but her origins are situated in Chester Pennsylvania. There she was the first to begin pursuing the musical profession by as a singer and pianist at the church. She was a student at Spellman College and began to study the R&B styles of Atlanta. The Fighting Temptations The first single featuring her voice was called Stalk You a house 12 issued exclusively in Japan and was later remixed by many producers and remains an essential part in her live show. The singer has also provided her singing for The Fighting Temptations' soundtrack. The band was hired as the primary keyboardist in Tyler Perry's play Meet the Browns in 2005. Jennifer Holliday was the Grammy and Tony Award winner who approached her in 2007 to serve as the Choral Director for Dreamgirls the stage show of Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine was at the center of attention for the nation during daily performances of four at 2008's Democratic National Convention. Sunshine followed up with being invited to sing for President Barack Obama at his inauguration.
