Aaliyah Haughton was famous after 1994 when she debuted her debut album Age Ain't nothing but the number. When she was just 15, the album achieved Gold standing. It was made as part of a group that was greatly in the style of R. Kelly and it brought her into the spotlight. In the year 1996, Jermaine Durpri and Timbaland collaborated to produce the second album of hers, One In A Million. The album included If Your Boyfriend Only Knew as the single number one. Aaliyah received international recognition for her R&B singing through the album. In 2000 she starred in the action and romance movie Romeo Must Die alongside martial artist Jet-Li. Joel Silver, film producer and director of Romeo Must Die caught her at an awards ceremony. She was in 2002 when she appeared as part of the Anne Rice-based horror film Queen of the Damned. The Matrix Sequels saw her playing Zee following her appearance on The Matrix Reloaded (2003) and The Matrix Revolutions that same year. Aarti Mann is the first generation Indian-American who was born in Connecticut. The stage name Mann comes from her married name Mankad. However, she uses both Aarti Mann as well as Aarti Majumdar for her professional name. While she started out with small TV and movie parts, her acting career began becoming more popular in the middle of 2000s. Other than The Big Bang Theory her other most acclaimed works include Leverage (2012) Suits (2013) and Grey's Anatomy (2017). The actress has been featured in a variety of commercials, including Volvo's global car manufacturer. She lives in Los Angeles where she continues acting as an actor.
